The Doctor said that since he's doing so good, they may transfer him out of the NICU and into the nursery. She also suggested transferring him back to New Ulm, so we'll see what she decides. She's going to call his Doctor in New Ulm to see what he says. They basically just want to monitor his feedings to make sure the transition from the tube to nursing/bottle feeding is going well and that he's getting enough.
We were able to put clothes on him today. The sleeper was a little big for him, but he'll grow into it soon!
My parents came up this afternoon. Both of them were able to hold Mason for the first time! Then they took us to Red Lobster to get a break from the hospital. We also made a stop at Babies R Us and picked up a couple things =)
We checked out of the Ronald McDonald house this morning. We have been there since Friday and the NICU and PICU are full, so other families were in need of rooms and it was their turn. We're staying in Mason's room tonight, so hopefully we get some sleep! I have a feeling it's going to be a long night though.
