Back to work...

Today was bittersweet... I had to go back to work after being off for 12 weeks. It felt good to go back, but was hard leaving Mason at daycare all day. Dropping him off went well and I got a text with an update and picture of him around 10 am, so that helped!  It'll be nice getting back into a routine. Last night he slept from 9:30 pm - 6 am! He knew his mom needed sleep before going back to work!

First sleepover

Mason had his first sleepover at Grandpa & Grandma Kral's with cousin Jeffrey on Saturday night! Richard and I went to the cities for the weekend. We went to the Body World exhibit at the Science Museum, did some shopping and stayed at a hotel with our neighbor's, Tim & Jesse, and their family.

Work

I went into work a couple days last week to do payroll. Mason got to stay with both sets of grandparents! On Friday I did a training and took Mason with me. He hung out on the floor in my office.



Baptism

Mason got baptized on Sunday at St. Mary's Church. Everyone from both of our families was able to be there. Mason is a lucky little boy to have so many people who care about him! We had everyone over for lunch afterwards.

Jeffrey

Jeffrey spent the day with Mason & I! We stayed busy playing with Legos, watching movies, digging out Richard's old toys, and organizing our basement. Yes...Jeffrey got me to start organizing! The other night he was over and said that we have a lot of junk in our basement and so I joked and said the next time he comes over he can help me clean it and he remembered that! He was a huge help! When we were done I asked him how much I owed him for helping and he said $3.00 =) He also helped Richard with the shelving.



2 Months

Mason was 2 months old on Sunday! 

 

 

He had his 2 month wellness checkup today. He did really good with his shots and only cried for a little bit.

 

Stats:

Weight: 10 lbs 3 oz (15.24%)

Length: 21 3/4 inches (5.52%)

 

-Eats 4 oz every 4 hours

-Sleeps from 8 pm- midnight then until 4 am on average

-Has been sleeping in his crib since he was 5 weeks old

-Wears newborn clothing, but is slowly growing out of some outfits and can wear some 0-3 months

-Getting better at holding his head up for longer periods of time

-Enjoys tummy time

-Likes when mommy sings to him =)

-Still hates a wet/dirty diaper and instantly lets you know
